Eastern Tire Service Ltd. is a family-owned and operated business, with over 50 years expertise in remanufacturing tires. At age 17, Gerald Holmes, nephew of the inventor of the Holmes Press for passenger retreads, borrowed ten thousand dollars and purchased his first tire retreading equipment. The company has expanded and modernized many times since then, to become the largest tire remanufacturer in North America.
